Just in case no-one believes me…

Here is a sneak preview of the beginnings of the new configuration screen;

You’ll notice it’s running on ‘localhost’ which means it’s purely only a development snapshot right now – but the point is, it’s there and it’s beginning to take shape 🙂

There’s not much point showing you a screen shot of the ViewEntry part since it looks the same as the old system pretty much. But under the hood, it’s a VERY different beast 🙂 It’s all CSS driven for the configuration options, instead of embedding all sorts of nastiness all over the place.

You might notice that with the new configurator you can set fonts, font size, boldness, text alignment etc. without needing to know HTML tags 🙂

It’s still in the early stages, but it’s getting there – and the screenshot is really just to show it’s happening because I know it’s been talked about since 2002 🙂

  1. Cool! But you can still customize with HTML if you want? As in use color codes? I see it by the text color thing but also for background color?

    Looks like good progress . . . thanks as always!

  2. Oh Oh Oh!

    I can’t WAIT to try it out!

    I won’t change a thing on my diary until this new toy is finished.

    You know I love you….. but that CUSTOMIZER!

    This is gonna be great!
