It’s May. Day.

I got the best news last week, on Thursday in fact. Since December Rose and I have been gathering together all the necessary paperwork and clearances for me to get a visa to go back to Australia with her at the end of the year. She’s enjoyed her stay in the UK to a large extent but the draw of good weather and family is too strong and she wants to go home. Given that we don’t want be apart that means I’m going with her – but of course we had to wait for the Australian Government to agree that I was ‘an OK chap’ and let me in.

On Thursday we got the go ahead that all the medicals, police clearances and other paperwork was in order and the visa has been granted!!

We’re so excited!!

So I thought I’d indulge in a personal entry this once 🙂
